The Turmoil Report - 4/29/03
Latest Updates: I suck as a columnist, go figure.
Title Changes: Miss Moonlight, new CW champ by beating like twenty or some dudes and dudettes Canadian Violence style in her first match. Venneman Pendragon would be proud.
Face/Heel Swapings: None
Best Match: 7, 6, there's not alot of times I would call a battle royal a good highlight of a show, but this would be it. Turmoil was lacking in just about every category, I could barely even see any feuds getting out. One ***1/2 match in the VJ/Green/Nez and **** with the CW Battle royal.
Worst Match: 1, Whethers, Cannon, Burns, Overweighter, Osbourne, Robertson one sided if it were ever going to be a straight up match. Ran sloppy, with a few bits of noteworthy +, and -, but I don't see Cannon being here next week if he continues to put out this kind of output.

Show Recap: 1)Some shitty segement with Matt Jackson as he's still the CIA thingamagig or whatever. I thought back in the old PCW, this gimmick died off and wanted to never come back? 2) Gaz Green and PFIK, trash talk/interview, nuff said. 3) See above. 4) Stone Burns in a seg that I think I saw Dante Jackson do for an actual rp in the IML...shitty though. 5) Brianna Washington talking to a toliet, great, how about she tosses herself in there as well and then we wouldn't have even needed that. 6) Kirkorian and Jackson (Matt) have a match when James Edwards and Stone Burns come in for the (what should have been) no contest finish, but Jackson hits the Bourne Ultimatium for three good match, but the end of the match is what stood out most. **. 7) The Overweighter hitting on Teresa which was funny IMO, good way to make him a character. 8) Miss Moonlight, Justice Inc and the PFIK...segments of television I wish were erased from my mind. 9) Dorn Tracer who basically is kicking ass and making a strong case for ROTY, beats John Garango, in a Kurt Angle/John Cena test for him. Good wrestler/Good Newb + Nice Match equal **1/2. 10) Hilton and Mark Makonie beat down Jackson (Matt) and give some bad acting to boot, god damn when will these fuckers just fuck off? 11) Overweighter and SyN have some backstage medical issues, and a good seg ensues. Thank God... 12) James Edwards....no PCG against E2! Great, a tag match with some good shit in there, *** 13) Stryker versus Smoke, Stryker did some shit, Smoke did some shit, lazy ass finish to some shit, *1/2 star for some SHIT! 14) PWA and E2 have the seg of the night and its good to see that the Tag division is trying to regroup, after all, the EXTREME title is being booked over them. 15) Pharaoh and Skylar Green talk shit, I think this is where VJ and Dante Jackson were to come in a do something too, but oh well, save it for Fusion. 16) See Above around Best Match. Reason why it got that 1/2, because it was to be a four until Dante ran in, causing calamity and such, and screwing PWA, but in the meantime, saving Violence Jack...okay, mind games. 17) See best match again, and Miss Moonlight.
Grade: C-, it wasn't the best show but the last few minutes saved this shows ass by a needle.
