| FAQ I sent an application in... When will I get a reply? PCW gets tons of applications, and sometimes it takes us a while to look at them all. We usually respond within two weeks of the receipt of the application. It's been more than two weeks since I sent my application, but I still have not received a response. What gives? Chances are we did not receive your application and its lost in Internet purgatory. Please apply again. I don't feel like writing a sample roleplay. Can I use an old one? You can, but if it is for a different character, it hurts your chances of direct acceptance to PCW. I don't feel like writing a sample roleplay and I have no old ones to send in. Is this ok? No, it isn't. If you can't take the time to turn in a sample, then its an indicator that you likely will not work hard if accepted to the fed. Can I turn in the "history" section for my wrestler later? Sure, and once we receive, THEN we will consider your application. I applied to PCW, but received an acceptence letter to something called the Primetime Wrestling Academy? What is this all about? Either we didn't deem your application, worthy of direct acceptence to the fed, or (more likely) we simply do not have the room in PCW at this time. Are my chances of eventually getting into PCW better if I go to the PWA? Yes. We take the best workers from the PWA into PCW. How long will I have to work in the PWA before I can get into PCW? No clue. There is no set period of time someone spends in the PWA until they 'get the call.' Rest assured, those who work get promoted. What exactly is the PWA? It is a wrestling academy, which has been open since late 2000. It helps people tweak their gimmicks/characters, work on their roleplaying and match writing. Several of the top wrestlers on the net today are graduates of the PWA. Those graphic images of the wrestlers are cool! What do you use to make them? A program called poser, along with a bit of Photoshop. |
